On Friday July 10, 2026, eleven new postulants for the Conventual Franciscan Federation initial formation program were welcomed in Chicago, Ill. Friar Martin Day, OFM Conv., minister provincial of Our Lady of Consolation Province (OLC), presided, preached, and entrusted them into the care of formation directors Friar Paul Schneider, OFM Conv., (St. Bonaventure Province) and Friar Ian Bremar, OFM Conv. (OLC). Keep them all, especially Paweł (Paul) Derkacz and Shayne Dias, Our Lady of the Angels postulants, in prayer.
