The Very Reverend Fr. James McCurry, OFM Conv., is pictured with Ms. Camilla Carroll , Baltimore’s Archbishop William Lori, and Mr. Stephen Blaes (husband of Camilla Carroll) at a dinner reception, at Carrollton Hall Historic Site, in Ellicott City, Maryland. The Archbishop and Camilla Carroll have graciously agreed to be on the newly formed Advisory Board of Carrollton Hall.

Camilla Carroll is the chatelaine of Doughoregan Manor and direct descendent of Charles Carroll of Carrollton. Charles Carroll, living the longest and proud to be the only Catholic signatory of the Declaration of Independence,  also framed the Constitution for Maryland and the formation of the state’s government. He is the cousin of Bishop John Carroll, the first bishop and archbishop in the United States, serving the Premier See, the Archdiocese of Baltimore from 1789 to 1815.
