Welcome New Postulants!

Wednesday, July 3, 2019: During Evening Prayer in Chicago’s St. Bonaventure Friary, home of our North American InterProvincial Postulancy, five men were officially welcomed into initial formation as Franciscan Friars Conventual Postulants: Anthony Ruffolo (St. Bonaventure Province), Zakary Navarrette (Our Lady of Consolation Province), Wayne Mulei (St. Joseph Cupertino Province) and for our province – Michael Murphy Boes & Edgar Ivan Varela.
In addition to the new postulants, Kyle Gregg (Our Lady of Consolation Province) also returns as a second-year postulant. Our province has a third postulant. Jonathan Garcia Zenteno will be arriving in August and will serve his postulancy stage of formation with our student friars in the St. Bonaventure Friary, in Silver Spring, MD. More photos from his Welcoming will be added to this post after his arrival. Please keep all of these men in your continued prayers.

VOCATIONS – OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS PROVINCE

As a Welcoming to the Fraternity, the Minister Provincials conveyed a San Damiano Crucifix to each postulant of their province.
